Without much press from MTV or other big news outlets, Thursday quietly donates and contributes to many charitable causes every year. Coming to mind are In Honor, Save CBGBs, and SSE.
Rhiannon Chloe (seven year old daughter of Alternative Press photographer Keith Kiiroja) is currently fighting Leukemia. Keith and his family are very close to Thursday, and the band has created a limited edition shirt, selling it for $15 in their online store. It’s not a bad looking shirt (which is a surprise since most band shirts these days are awful), and the money goes to supporting Keith’s family and his daughter’s battle.
I own more than enough Thursday shirts, but I’ll be picking this one up. Instead of spending $20 at Hot Topic for a generic band shirt, pick this up and donate to a good cause.

Why is charity a band? Shouldn’t Thursday be there?
